Forgotten Eagles Inc. continues to provide assistance to our Veterans who need Critical Need Assistance. We now are asking all who apply for help to do so thru a Qualified Veterans Service Officer or Veterans Affairs Officer. These Officers have more available resources at their disposal and can help you fill out our New Allocation Application. Each Chapter has Emergency funds set aside for Critical Need Assistance for qualified veterans. All requests are directed to the Chapter Allocation Officer from a Qualified VSO or Veterans Affairs Officer and the critical need will be need to be verified. Each request is considered on their merit and must be of a critical nature. Critical Need Requests are discussed and voted upon by Chapter Board of Directors and Officers. If needed the request may also be considered by the Chapter Membership at the Chapter monthly meeting. We do not give handouts. We offer hand-ups to those that Honorably Served in Defense of our Freedoms. To be considered you must have been Honorably Discharged from the Armed Services or at least posses a General Under Honorable Conditions Discharge. You will need to provide a DD-214 or have some other VA documents as proof of discharge. WE DO NOT ALLOCATE ANY FUNDS DIRECTLY TO THE VETERANS OR SERVICE MEMBERS! ALL FUNDS ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE PROVIDERS OF THE SERVICES NEEDED SUCH AS UTILITIES, MORTGAGE COMPANIES, VEHICLE REPAIR SHOPS, ETC. PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION OR CONTACTING CHAPTERS OUTSIDE OF YOUR COUNTY AREA WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL BE DENIED CONSIDERATION FOR ASSISTANCE. assistance-application.pdf |
